March 8th-10th:Baseball loses, Softball wins, and Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field compete in the Palomino Relays at Ramona HS
Baseball: Poly 1 Glendora 4
The baseball team (2-2) dropped their game against Glendora in tournament play at Chino HS on Saturday. They wrap up tournament play on Tuesday.
Softball: Poly 3 Fountain Valley 1
Softball ran its record to 5-1 on Saturdaywith another outstanding performance from Janine Petmecky (11), this time a two-hitter. Hailey Finn (9) batted in the winning run in the 9th inning.
Boys’ and Girls’ Track:
Both sides placed well at the Palomino Relays on Saturday at Ramona HS. The boys rode their field and distance events to the second place trophy while the girls placed well across the board to earn third place.
