ADMINISTRATION: Mrs. Lee joins Poly’s staff as the new secretary in the discipline office.

This school year, Poly welcomed several new teachers in various teaching departments, but Poly also added new administrators in the discipline office, including secretary, Mrs. Roselind (Roz) Lee. As a secretary, Mrs. Lee assists Mr. Brian Frost, vice principal, to ensure organization in the office. Prior to working as an administrative assistant, Mrs. Lee studied Accounting and Business Administration at Santa Monica College.
Before joining the Poly staff as Mr. Frost’s secretary, Mrs. Lee worked as an administrator at the San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) for 16 years. “I have served in various capacities throughout the years with the SBCCD, and I have now moved on to work for the Riverside Unified School District (RUSD),” Lee explained.
With several years of experience under her belt, Mrs. Lee quickly adapted to the new work environment at Poly. “My experience [so far] with other staff members has been welcoming and encouraging. I am just getting to know the students as well as I know the staff, and I come across various characteristics and personalities of the individuals; so my experience with Poly has been very interesting so far. But all in all, I have been embraced by each staff member that has come in contact with me in a welcoming manner,” Lee stated.
As an administrative assistant, she enjoys her job as she helps others and ensures productivity in the office. Poly students and staff benefit greatly from her tenacious efforts as she organizes important documents and appointments. With Mrs. Lee as the new secretary, Poly’s administration continues to work effectively and maintain efficiency within the school. “It has been a genuine pleasure to work with Mrs. Lee during her first few weeks at Poly. She is a soft spoken professional who learns quickly. She is a great addition to our office staff,” Mr Frost expressed.
