Remember when you were a freshman and you had no idea what was going on, so you just tried to play it cool? The underclassmen you are referring to are doing just that — playing it cool. They are all trying to find their niches in high school, and in the process they may go through an annoying and slightly monarchical phase. Didn’t we all, though?
Don’t take it personally. These underclassmen are not trying to project their presence and personalities onto you specifically; you just happened to be in the way when the underclassmen energy laser went off. Just think about the situation this way: you are graduating at the end of the school year, so why worry about what the underclassmen are doing? You are not responsible for their actions. Instead you should be trying to make your senior year as memorable as possible. You will do your thing, they will do their thing, and the high school universe will be in harmony once more.
