Well for one thing, arguing is not going to solve your problem. In a war of egos, fighting fire with fire is not the way to go. Commanding people have a very strong power-lust—which is to say they get their kicks out of knowing they “rule” over other people. Your president can only boss you around if you let him, so stand your ground. Talk to him, if you have not already, or get a close friend of his or the club advisor to do so. If you feel uncomfortable doing this by yourself, you can get a group together to talk to him as well. Let him know that there are other voices in the club and that they all deserve to be heard. However, do not ambush your president. Although he may be bossy, this guy still has feelings. An outright revolution or intervention is not necessary, but your president needs to know that the club feels subjected to a dictatorship.
