Editor #10:
The development of spiritual beliefs will never cease to evolve throughout a person’s lifetime. The ideas of Scientology are no exception; you will find that your own beliefs may not always match up with the overall “name” of the religion. Each person will have his or her own brand of faith, and that is entirely okay. Just because you define yourself as a Scientologist does not mean that you have to agree with every aspect of that faith, just the same as a Christian might not believe in every aspect of Christianity.
Challenging your own beliefs and redefining them is a vital aspect of developing your own faith. However, if you stop inquiring for fear of truth, won’t that leave you with mock-faith? To question yourself is the foundation of great self-discovery, and in terms of faith, is healthy no matter what religion you practice. Not only does this help your beliefs grow, but this also strengthens them as you justify them to both yourself and others. Whatever you choose to do, ignore any stigma on particular faiths and make sure your beliefs speak for you as an individual.
