Editor #10:
Senioritis is the most deadly of all ailments among high school seniors, highly infectious, and has only one known cure: graduation. Though your current prognosis may look grim, let me assure you that every single one of your senior counterparts is feeling the effects of senioritis in some form or another, and who can blame them? You have all spent twelve years in various classrooms waiting for a bell to release you to yet another classroom. Although your senioritis has come early, you can’t give in yet! This is the last 100m sprint toward the finish after a long race, and although you are tired this part still matters. Colleges still look at your senior year, and your classes this year are going to be as rigorous as ever to prepare you for your future academic career. Keep yourself motivated by the fact that with every day, you get closer to graduation. Try not to let
yourself fall into the habit of putting off school even though it seems repetitious and tedious at this point. Also, avoid wishing this year away. Enjoy this year, finish strong and before you know it you will have graduated and senior year will seem as if it happened very long ago. You will only be a senior once, so
make the best of it!
