1) Home Alone
This movie has already been a cemented American comedy classic for decades. Home Alone made in 1990 is a wholesome coming-of-age Christmas film that everyone should watch whether with friends or family. The storyline of this movie, despite its simplicity, will never get old, as we see little 8-year old Kevin McCallister accidentally left at home while his family leaves for their holiday trip to Paris! The film shows the importance of family and togetherness in the holiday season while mixing in its wacky antics and festive fun.
2) A Charlie Brown Christmas
Good old Charlie Brown is such a character, one that every kid is familiar with. This animated movie has its quirks but all around its charm is so joyful. As we get to watch Charlie try and figure out the true meaning of Christmas, we can’t help but feel like part of the connections made along the way. 3) How The Grinch Stole Christmas
On the outside of a little town known as Whoville lives the Grinch, who hates not just Christmas but the people of the city as well. This tale is a wonderful live-action adaptation of Dr. Suess’s kids book about the antisocial and green Grinch. Nightmare Before Christmas is a cute stop-motion film of this Halloween town surrounded by all sorts of scary and hideous creatures, but Jack discovers the joy of Christmas one night in the woods after being tired of the routine Halloween traditions.
