GAMING: With new features, the Nintendo 3DS will provide a better hand-held gaming experience.

With Nintendo’s announcement of the new version of the Nintendo 3DS, gamers can only wonder: What’s new? Improved graphics or an enhanced control system? Both! In a recent announcement made in Japan, Nintendo shared that its newest version of the 3DS will keep its classic theme and include great new features.
Reflecting the theme of Nintendo’s NES system, gamers feel a bit nostalgic when looking at the new color scheme of the improved gamepad. The latest buttons to be added on the 3DS include an additional analog stick which will give users increased versatility where vision is essential in game play. The addition will be located on the upper right-hand side just above the right hand gamepad on the system. Its placement will require users to rely on the new trigger buttons, which will be located just between the old left and right triggers, to fully utilize this innovative feature. Another improvement is a more powerful hardware system which has been expanded by more efficient internal hardware. This includes a built-in browser, better screens and an automatic brightness adjustment sensor. The built-in browser will ameliorate online capabilities and, with any luck, be capable of more immersive, multiplayer games. Enhanced screens will reduce an already-limited field of view that gamers have had to endure while using the 3D capabilities of the system. The automatic brightness adjuster will ease the hassle of actually having to restart the game in order to adjust the brightness.
With these innovative improvements, the mobile gaming market will be expanded and taken more seriously. The days of using the 3DS for Mario or Pokemon games are almost over, and these innovations will usher in a new age of fantastic gaming. Coming from someone who started out on the clunky old Gameboy Advanced, a better way to play on the go will make virtual reality a bit more tangible.
