RELEASED: Post Malone’s newest album drop of 2019 shocks the world!

By Sofia Anderson, Staff Writer

Is Hollywood actually bleeding or is it just a figment of Post Malone’s imagination? This year Post Malone’s newest album drop, “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” hit number one on the charts within the first week of its release. Fans were ecstatic for the release since his last album, “Beerbongs and Bentleys” (2018), was such a big hit. With his new album, Post-Malone is still on top of the charts after just three weeks of it being released. According to Nielsen Music, it is the first album to stay number one on the charts in a year since Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s “A Star is Born,” soundtrack.

The album received publicity so rapidly because of all of the artists featured on it, including DaBaby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Scott, SZA, Swae Lee, and Young Thug. All of these well-known artists made a wide variety of people excited to hear the album outside of Post Malone’s usual fan base. Some Post Malone fans were skeptical about the idea at first, “At first I was expecting the regular Posty just singing by himself and I was so amazed by his last album I didn’t think I would like him featuring all these people in this album. Once the album was released I was impressed. He still kept true to his sound but incorporated other people into it. It was great 10/10,” Owen Pennington (10) said. Post Malone still caught the hearts and ears of his fans with his new album while growing his original fan base.

In this album, Post Malone released 17 new songs. These include “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” “Saint Tropez,” “Enemies,” “Allergic,” “A Thousand Bad Times,” “Circles,” “Die for Me,” “On the Road,” “Take What You Want,” “I’m Gonna Be,” “Staring at the Sun,” “Sunflower,” “Internet,” “Goodbye,” “Myself,” “I know,” and “Wow.” Fan favorites include “SunFlower,” “Circles,” and “Goodbyes” which are commonly played on the radio. “I am personally a fan of Goodbyes. It is a little different from the things he has written before, but the song really touched me and it’s something I listen to about ten times a day to say the least,” Kaitlyn Mann (9) said.

Post Malone starts touring “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” on October 3 in Canada. After performing in Canada, he will make his way to New York, Boston, Washington, North Carolina, New Orleans, and many more. This is a concert people won’t want to miss.
