Poly football was the lone sport that did not reach the Promised Land.  While the highlight of the year was the team’s stunning upset of traditional powerhouse Rancho Verde, the Bears were unable to close out the season in style. The team had the opportunity to make the playoffs in its last game of the season against North, but fell to the Huskies 38-0, thus eliminating it from playoff contention.  The Bears finished with a frustrating 4-6 record overall and a 3-3 record in league play, and Head Coach Jeff Huerta resigned following the season.
