Dodgefathers Can’t Be Refused

DODGEBALL: Behind some hard throws and nifty catches, the Dodgefathers demolished Undecided in the  spring tournament final.

Despite beating the Dodgefathers in the double elimination final four, Undecided came into today’s tournament final as a huge underdog. Three games later, it was clear why. Undecided never came close as the Dodgefathers  swept the best-of-five series 3-0.

“Our strategy has primarily been to use the hoops to get our whole team back in. It’s worked well enough to get us this far and to beat [the Dodgefathers] the first time, so it really didn’t help not being able to use the hoops this game. We’re a good shooting team, but we live or die by it,” Undecided’s Chandler Drachslin (10) said.

Undecided was also without star player J. D. Builteman (10), who missed the final for a basketball tournament.

Last semester’s champions, Thunderballs, as well as some of last year’s champion Brew Crew (now on the Preps) were eliminated in the semi-final round, but Thunderballs’ Jeffrey Salamon (12) donned a skirt to become a cheerleader for the champion Dodgefathers.
