GROUNDBREAKINNG

As one might ask themselves before choosing to view the new Scream movie, what is this movie supposed to be about, and how is it any different than the original? The new Scream movie stayed true to what happened in the first movie. Just like in the original Scream movie, at the beginning of the movie a mysterious voice calls on the landline phone and a young girl picks up and is asked to play a “game”.

Many people tend to enjoy the original Scream. This movie includes many plot twists that the fans were hoping would happen in the next movie. In the new Scream, I love the way they added in the beginning of the movie how the young teenage girl is forced to play a game to save someone she loves, and how if you get one question wrong the killer attacks both of the characters mentioned. The killer attempted to kill Tara, sister to the main character Sam, and somehow she survives this attack, bringing Sam back to Modesto, their hometown. Sam has a dark family history that she has not shared with anyone, and it seems the killer attempted to kill Tara to bring Sam home.

The focus of the movie is to find out who the “Ghostface” killer is. In the original Scream, the killer is always part of their friend group or someone they know. In the new movie, they bring back many of the original characters, and they all team up to find out who the “Ghostface” killer is. There is a big plot twist in this movie that will not only capture attention and help gain an even larger fan base, but it will also change people’s view on everything. In my opinion, I do not see how they could have made this movie any better, and I am sure it will become as large a classic as the many Scream movies before.

Gunna Drip Season 4Ever Album Review

Written by: Zach Owens, Staff Writer

On January 7th, 2022 Gunna dropped his album Drip Season 4Ever, which went #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Most of the songs are uptempo and very catchy, with two of the most popular being “Pushin P” and “Too Easy”. The album had features from big name artists such as Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Drake, Lil Baby, and G Herbo. The music is very well produced, the instrumentals are simple and not too repetitive, and the album encompasses both traditional hip hop as well as understated lyrical genius. DS4Ever has satisfied both Gunna’s usual fan base and beyond, and is overall a very successful album.
