With the winter season coming to a close and spring fast approaching, great bargains are available during the month of March. From frozen food items to air conditioners, the list of the best products to buy in March covers a wide spectrum of retail goods.
Frozen food is a popular product to buy, partially because March is national frozen food month. Many coupons and promotions for similar items are readily available to consumers. Fresh food such as asparagus, peas and artichokes are in season, dropping the market price of these produce items significantly.
Consumers commonly purchase air conditioners because good deals are available on new air conditioners and maintenance. With a rise in temperatures, the demand for cooling systems increases, which increases prices. Humidifiers are also purchased at a high rate as a result of the rise in humidity throughout the country.
Bikes are sold in large quantities due to the fact that many bike manufacturers introduce new bicycle models, which allows retail stores to sell previous models at a decreased price. Boats are also a “hot ticket item” because boat shows are frequent events.
The best time to buy a house is in March as well. Less competition for realty exists because the “curb appeal” of houses “is at its lowest during the winter months because the landscape is dormant. Fewer people tend to look for homes during this time of year, which means you have less competition for that dream home,” Mainstreet.com reported.
Likewise, winter gear and winter clothes are top sellers because retail stores begin to mark down the last season’s sports gear, such as snow boards and skis, in order to make room for their new inventory.
All of these products are the best to buy during the March since they are marked down in anticipation of the new season that will arrive: Spring.
