EDUCATION: Poly High School’s ASB is going to camp this summer.

Eleven of Poly High School’s ASB members will be attending the CADA Leadership Camp this upcoming summer. The students will attend the camp from July 24-27 on the UCSB campus.
CADA Leadership Camp is a leadership conference that promotes the learning of leadership skills and qualities. Through workshops that are designed to develop effective leadership skills, students learn the importance of time management, goal setting, communication and the promotion of a positive school environment.
The Poly Students will also participate in a talent show. This talent show features singing, dancing, acting and other talents presented by the groups.
The ASB members will stay in the dorms located on the UCSB campus. Through sleeping in close proximity the students have an added opportunity to bond and create lasting ties.
“I hope that this camp will help us not only bond as a group and friends, but also in our ability to work together to produce some of the best events Poly has ever seen!” Jared Kanouse (10) said.
