Question:
Dear Poly Spotlight Advice,
Lately my parents have been saying that they want me to do this, be this, think this and live like this. I understand that they do know what can be beneficial for my future, but at what point do I need to do what I want to do? Can I even trust my own ambitions since I haven’t been in existence as long as my parents have? Do I possess enough knowledge about my world and moral understanding that I need to break free from the chains of parental incarceration?
